Portland Arts Festival 2008: Photo Competition

The 2008 "My South Norwood" photography competition was judged by Croydon Councillor Steve Hollands and the winners are shown below:

First prize of £120.00:

• Prizes were presented by Malcom Wicks MP at the Portland Arts Festival fair, Sunday 22nd June 2008 at 1pm on Woodside Green.

About the Competition:

• From the 18th to the 22nd of June 2008, South Norwood (London) hosted the Portland Arts Festival organised by the People For Portland Road residents association. A wide variety of music, dance, film, poetry, and art exhibitions took place at different venues in the South Norwood area. Download a festival brochure in .pdf format for an events listing.

• Two competitions were run in advance of the festival - a poster competition for kids and the "My South Norwood" photography competition for all ages. Pro-Leagle were proud to act as sponsors for the photography competition and awarded cash prizes to the winners.
